Full description

A growing dog can move through feeding bands quickly, so the chart matters as much as the flavour when choosing a larger puppy-food bag.

Harringtons Puppy Salmon is complete dry puppy food in a 10KG bag. Salmon and meat meals make up 32%, including 7% dried salmon and 4% freshly prepared chicken. The formula also includes maize, 5.6% rice, 15% oats, 5% chicken fat and a 1.8% omega blend. Protein is 30%, fat is 13%, crude fibre is 3.5% and crude ash is 8.5%. Feeding guidance is arranged by expected adult weight and puppy age.

Fat content: 13%

Salmon is not the only animal ingredient. The recipe includes freshly prepared chicken and chicken fat, plus maize, rice and oats. Feeding amounts change between the 2–6 and 6–12 month bands, so the pack chart should be followed rather than carrying one portion forward.

Who it's for: growing puppies whose owners want a complete salmon-led dry food and can use expected adult weight and current age to select the feeding band.

Harringtons Puppy Salmon

Why we chose it

The feeding table is the key reason for this puppy food because it makes the age change visible instead of offering one broad daily amount. The 32% salmon and meat meal total also gives the flavour useful context.
