Full description
A ball on its own rolls away the moment it lands; a ball on a rope stays where a dog can find it, which matters more on grass than it sounds like it should.
This is a 65mm rubber ball fixed to a rope handle, built for throw-and-catch play rather than left-alone chewing. The rope makes it easier to retrieve and, for some dogs, doubles as a tug once the ball itself has been caught.
- 65mm rubber ball
- Attached rope handle
- Weighs 0.145kg
- Suited to outdoor throw-and-fetch play
On indoor use. Good Boy pitch this at outdoor walks and park play rather than indoor games — a rubber ball on a rope thrown inside a house is more likely to find a lamp than a landing spot, so keep it for outside.
Who it's for: dogs that play fetch on walks, and owners who want a rope handle to make throwing and retrieving easier than a bare ball allows.

Why we chose it
The rope is the whole reason to pick this over a plain rubber ball — it's easier to throw with some spin, easier to retrieve from long grass, and doubles as something to tug once the fetch part is done. Weighing 0.145kg, it throws further than a lighter toy would.
