How to measure

Stand your pet up squarely.
Wrap a soft tape around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs.
Keep two fingers under the tape so the fit is snug, not tight.
If your pet is between sizes, choose the larger one.

Full description

Dressing a dog up usually means putting a harness on underneath and then hiding it, which is uncomfortable, fiddly and looks it. Building the lead attachment into the garment itself removes that whole layer: one thing goes on, the D-ring sits on the back where it belongs, and the dog wears an outfit rather than an outfit plus hardware. For a small dog on a summer walk that is a real comfort difference.

The dress is a pinafore shape in gingham with lace trims, a frilled skirt and an appliqué at the chest, cut light so it suits warm weather rather than adding a layer. The D-ring is fitted to the back panel where the pull is spread across the shoulders. Sizes run XS to XL, and the design options include plain pink and blue gingham alongside versions with bear and chick appliqués.
