How to measure

Neck: measure right around the base of the neck where a collar sits.
Chest: measure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs.
Back length: measure along the spine from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.

Full description

Winter dog walking happens in the dark at both ends of the day, which means warmth and visibility are the same problem rather than two. This padded coat takes both on: an insulated shell to hold heat through cold, damp weather, and reflective stripes down each side that catch passing headlights from the angle a driver is most likely to see you. The stand-up collar closes the gap at the throat where the wind gets in.

The shape is pull-on, which sounds minor until you are late and trying to fasten straps around an excited dog on a doorstep. It weighs between 70 g and 149 g depending on size, so it is a genuine layer without being bulky enough to shorten a dog's stride. Ten options are listed across black and red in sizes S to XXL, which covers most builds from a terrier upwards.
