How to measure

Neck: measure right around the base of the neck where a collar sits.
Chest: measure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs.
Back length: measure along the spine from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.

Full description

Between October and March most walks happen at one end of the day or the other, and reflective trim earns its place long before the padding does. This quilted coat carries it around the edges rather than as a single bright patch, which outlines the shape of a dog to an approaching driver; recognising a shape at distance is what actually makes someone slow down, and a lone dot of light does not manage it.

The quilting is light rather than heavy, and that suits British winters better than it might sound. Most days here are damp and hovering around freezing rather than genuinely arctic, and a bulky coat leaves a dog panting on the way home. A small zip pocket on the back takes a spare poo bag, a key or a couple of treats, and the fastening is designed to go on and come off in one movement at the door. Thirty variations cover XS to 3XL.
