How to measure

Bust: measure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs.
Back length: measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.

Full description

Rain rarely cancels a walk, it just decides how long the towelling-off afterwards takes. A poncho cut goes on over the head in one movement, which is the practical difference between a coat that gets used on a drizzly Tuesday and one that stays on the hook all winter. The hood takes the worst off the head and ears, and the belly strap stops the whole thing sliding sideways the moment your dog shakes.

The fabric is light and packs down small enough to push into a coat pocket, so it can travel with you rather than only being fetched once the sky has already opened. The poncho shape leaves the legs entirely free, which suits long-bodied dogs such as dachshunds who struggle with four-legged suits. There is nothing to fasten around each leg, so even a wriggly dog is dressed in seconds.
