Product description
Walking a dog from a collar puts every pull straight through the throat, and for anything with a short face, a delicate windpipe or a habit of lunging at cats, that is the wrong place for the force to land. A padded vest spreads the same pull across the chest and shoulders instead. This one comes as a set with a matching reflective rope lead, so the two halves actually go together rather than being cobbled from a drawer.
The vest is breathable mesh with padding through the panels that sit against the body, and reflective trim runs through the vest and the lead alike, which is the part that earns its keep on a January morning. It fastens and adjusts quickly over the head and behind the front legs. Sizes S and L are listed across black, grey, blue and orange, weighing between 148 g and 356 g depending on which option you choose.
- Padded, breathable mesh vest
- Matching reflective rope lead in the Suit option
- Reflective trim on the vest itself
- Choice of Suit (vest and lead) or Strap (vest only)
- Colours: black, grey, blue, orange
- 148 g to 356 g depending on size and option
Read the variant name before you order. Options marked Suit include the lead, options marked Strap are the vest alone, and the price is the same either way, so it pays to check. Worth saying too: spreading pressure makes pulling more comfortable, it does not stop it. A back-clip vest gives a determined dog something to lean into, and real progress comes from lead training.
Who it's for: Owners who want a gentler alternative to a collar for everyday walks and would rather buy the lead and harness as one matched set.
Why we chose it
A vest-style chest panel spreads the pull instead of concentrating it on a strap, which is the honest mechanism here - it is comfort, not a no-pull miracle. Reflective trim, thirty sizes, lead included.

Size guide & how to measure
Sized by your dog's neck and chest (bust) circumference, with a rough weight guide.
How to measure
- Measure the neck where a collar would naturally sit.
- Measure the chest (bust) at its widest point, just behind the front legs.
- Compare both measurements to the chart — the harness adjusts within each range.
| Size | Neck | Chest (bust) | Recommended weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | 32–49 cm | 34–63 cm | 4–7.5 kg |
| M | 38–60 cm | 38–75 cm | 7.5–17.5 kg |
| L | 42–66 cm | 38–89 cm | 17.5–22.5 kg |
| XL | 52–85 cm | 48–98 cm | 22.5–45 kg |
Measurements are the manufacturer's own figures (manual measurement may vary slightly). If between sizes, size up.
