Full description
Watch a dog settle and you will see which shape of bed they actually want. Some curl tight into a ring, some fold their front legs over an edge, and a great many sleep flat out with the head propped on something. An L-shaped bolster covers all three, running a raised support along the back and one side while leaving the rest open, so a dog can pillow their head in the corner or sprawl straight off the front.

A dished base forces a curl; a flat one lets a big dog stretch out fully, and older dogs with stiff joints usually prefer it.
