Full description

Two D-rings on a coat solve a problem most winter coats create. Once a dog is zipped into a padded layer the collar is buried and the harness is underneath it, so you end up unzipping the whole thing at the front door just to clip a lead on. Loops sewn onto the back of this one give you somewhere to clip without undoing anything you have just fastened.

It is a quilted two-tone build with padding through the body, closed by a full-length zip and elasticated so it pulls in to the dog's shape rather than hanging off it like a blanket. That matters, because a loose coat lets cold air underneath and quietly defeats the padding. Reflective trim runs across it, which counts for more than it sounds in a British winter, when most weekday walks happen in the dark at both ends of the day.
