Measurements are the manufacturer's own figures. Weight is printed in Chinese catties (1 catty = 0.5 kg), so 1-3 catties is roughly 0.5-1.5 kg and 11-15 catties is roughly 5.5-7.5 kg. The maker adds: "Weight is for reference only. It is recommended to measure chest circumference. It is normal for manual measurement to have a 2-3cm error." If between sizes, size up.

Full description
Long-backed dogs are badly served by clothing. Most jumpers are cut for a squarer build, so a dachshund ends up with the hem halfway up the back and a draught across the loin, which is precisely the part of the body that most wants covering. This hoodie is cut with that shape in mind, which is why the variants are named after sausage dogs rather than sizes alone.
The fabric is a plush faux mink pile, warmer for its weight than a flat fleece because the pile itself holds air rather than relying on thickness. It is finished with ribbed trims to hold the warmth in, a striped body, an embroidered bear patch and a pom-pom on the hood. There are two front legs to thread and no back legs at all, so dressing takes seconds. Sizes run XS to XL, in brown or blue.
