Full description

Most festive pet outfits get worn for one photograph and then abandoned in a drawer, which is a waste of money and of the dog's patience. A fleece jumper is a different proposition. It is a genuinely warm layer that happens to be embroidered with a reindeer, so it carries on earning its keep on cold January walks long after the tree has come down and the decorations are back in the loft.

The jumper is soft fleece with reindeer and holly embroidery, and a matching pom-pom hat comes with it. Fleece is the right fabric for a Christmas garment because it traps warm air without adding weight, so a small dog is not lugging a heavy coat about the park. Four design codes and sizes from S to XL cover small and medium builds, and the set weighs between 80 and 110 grams depending on which size you take.

About the hat. Hats are a costume item rather than clothing. Most dogs tolerate one for a few supervised minutes and no longer, and none should be left wearing one unattended. The jumper is the part that can stay on all day, so take the hat off once the photographs are done.
