Full description
Cats respond to movement and texture far more reliably than to shape or colour, which is why a teaser toy tends to combine several different sensory triggers rather than relying on just one.
This is Coolpet's Tommy Tomato Teaser, a cat toy combining catnip, crinkle material and feathers in one piece. Coolpet recommend spot cleaning it with mild soap and water, and it's intended for pet use, designed for play together with your cat rather than being left down alone.
- Contains catnip
- Crinkle material for sound
- Feathers for movement and texture
- Spot clean with mild soap and water
- For pet use, played with together
One thing worth knowing. Coolpet don't specify the exact material of the outer body beyond it containing catnip, crinkle and feathers, and feathers in particular are best used under supervision, since small feather pieces can come loose over time.
Who it's for: cat owners looking for a multi-sensory teaser combining scent, sound and movement, rather than a single-feature toy.

Why we chose it
Catnip, crinkle and feathers in one toy covers three different ways a cat might respond, which improves the odds of it actually getting played with. It's a genuinely varied toy for what's usually a fairly simple category.
