Full description
A rope tug is not always the right texture for every dog's mouth, particularly an older or more sensitive one, and a plaited fleece ring is the softer alternative that still gives a dog something to grip and pull against.
This is Coolpet's plaited fleece double ring — two connected rings of plaited fleece, built for tug and play rather than as a chew toy on its own.
- Plaited fleece construction
- Double-ring design
- Soft texture in the mouth compared with a rope tug
- Suited to tug and interactive play
- Packed weight 0.23kg
On sizing. The card gives us the construction and the intended use, but no size, colour or washing instruction, so we cannot confirm how it holds up in a machine wash. As with any fleece or fabric toy, we would remove and bin it if it starts to fray or come apart rather than let a dog work pieces off it.
Who it's for: dogs that enjoy tug play but do better with a softer texture than rope, and owners looking for a gentler toy for an older dog.

Why we chose it
Fleece against a dog's gums is a genuinely different experience from rope, and it is worth having something softer in stock for dogs that do not take well to a harder tug toy. The double-ring shape also gives two grip points rather than one length to fight over.
