Not every dog needs a heavy-duty rubber toy to bite down on — a softer-mouthed dog, or one still learning to retrieve, often does better with something lighter that gives a little, which is the gap a cork-filled dummy fills next to a solid dumbbell.

Coachi's Training Dummy is filled with natural cork, which keeps it lightweight, buoyant and non-toxic, and it comes with a rope attachment for extended throwing distance. It floats, so it doubles as a water retrieve toy, and it's built as a padded-style dummy rather than a rigid one.
