Specifications

Brand: Classic

Full description

A tug toy needs two separate things to work at once: something sturdy enough for the dog's end, and something an owner can actually get a grip on without their hand ending up too close to the action.

This is Classic's Chicken Leg Rope Tug, made from sturdy vinyl in a chicken-leg shape with a funny face, attached to a strong rope tug. It measures 27 inches, 680mm, overall, and comes with a swing ticket attached.

Overall length: 27 inches (680mm)
Sturdy vinyl chicken-leg body
Strong rope tug attached
Funny face design
For interactive play between owner and dog

One thing worth knowing. Classic don't specify the exact vinyl grade or the rope material, so how it holds up against a determined chewer rather than a gentle tugger isn't something we can confirm from the label.

Who it's for: owners who play tug-of-war or fetch with their dog and want a full-length toy that gives both hand and mouth plenty of room.

Why we chose it

At 27 inches this is a genuinely long toy, which keeps your hand well clear of the dog's mouth during a proper game of tug. The vinyl and rope combination also gives two different textures in one toy, which tends to hold a dog's interest longer than either on its own.
