Full description

A balloon shape on a chew toy is really just an excuse to combine two textures at once — a rubber body a dog can gnaw at for dental benefit, and a rope 'string' that gives them something else to grab and pull.

Smart Choice's Rubber & Rope Birthday Balloon is part of their Birthday Pet range, built from TPR and rope, with approximate measurements of 15.5cm x 12cm. It comes in green, pink or blue.

On what's missing. The measurements given are approximate rather than exact, and the card doesn't confirm a weight or whether it squeaks. Part of the Birthday Pet range, it reads as a novelty toy first and a dental chew second, so treat any dental benefit as incidental rather than the main reason to buy it.

Who it's for: owners marking a dog's birthday who want something novelty-shaped rather than a plain chew, in one of three colours.

Why we chose it

The birthday balloon shape is a nice bit of fun for an occasion toy, and TPR with a rope pull gives it two things to actually do rather than one. Three colours mean it's easy to pick one that doesn't clash with whatever else is already in the toy box.
