How to measure
- Measure the chest at its widest point, just behind the front legs.
- Measure the back from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.
- Weigh your pet and check it falls inside the weight range for the size you pick.

Measurements are the manufacturer's own figures. The weight column is printed in Chinese catties (jin), not kilograms - one catty is 0.5 kg, so the S range of 3—5 catties is roughly 1.5—2.5 kg and the XXL range of 15—20 catties is roughly 7.5—10 kg. If between sizes, size up.

Full description
December walks start in the dark and finish in it, and a short-coated dog standing about in that is genuinely cold rather than simply looking sorry for itself. A chunky knit does real work in those conditions. The roll neck is the part that matters most, because it covers the throat and the top of the chest, which is where a thin-coated dog sheds heat fastest while you are stopped talking to somebody at the corner.
It pulls on over the head and front legs, so there is nothing to fasten while your dog spins by the door, and the knit has enough stretch to move with the shoulders instead of pinning them back. The design carries a snowman, gingerbread men and cable-knit panels, in navy blue, red or green. Hand wash it and dry it flat: a chunky knit put through a machine comes out a size smaller and a different shape entirely.
