Hover to zoomSize guide & how to measure
Pet coats and jumpers are sized mainly by back length, with chest girth as a second check. Back length matters most for coverage.
How to measure
- Back length: measure along the spine from the base of the neck (collar area) to the base of the tail.
- Chest: measure around the widest part of the ribcage, behind the front legs.
- If the two measurements suggest different sizes, choose by back length and allow for the chest.
| Size | Typical back length | Typical chest |
|---|---|---|
| XS | 20–25 cm | 30–40 cm |
| S | 25–32 cm | 38–50 cm |
| M | 32–40 cm | 48–62 cm |
| L | 40–50 cm | 60–76 cm |
| XL | 50–60 cm | 74–92 cm |
Ranges are approximate and vary by style. Always check this product’s Specifications for its exact measurements.
Full description
Two sizes with actual measurements behind them, which is rarer than it ought to be: the small is 45cm by 22cm, the large 62cm by 32cm. Hold a tape across your dog's chest and you will know in a moment which one will sit right, rather than ordering blind and ending up with a bandana that either swings loose under the chin or barely clears the collar.
Three of the four options are single cotton triangles — a Santa on a green ground, the same Santa on wine red, and white deer on red — and the fourth is a three-piece set, which is the one to choose if you want the whole look rather than a bandana on its own. Cotton absorbs, which is what you want under the chin of a dog who drinks messily, and it takes a printed pattern with a soft matt finish rather than the shine you get from polyester.
- Small: 45cm long, 22cm wide
- Large: 62cm long, 32cm wide
- Cotton, printed
- Four options: Santa on green, Santa on wine red, white deer on red, or a three-piece set
- Shipping weight 8g to 48g depending on the option chosen
- Supplied as one triangle scarf, or one set
Two things worth knowing. And the measurements are taken by hand, so allow 2-3cm either way when you are deciding between the two sizes.
Who it's for: Owners who would rather measure than guess, and anyone after a matching Christmas set rather than a single bandana.
