Feeding a different flavour each night is easier to manage from one multipack than buying four separate trays and hoping none go to waste before they're used.

This eight-pack contains four terrine-style recipes - Lamb, Turkey and Green Beans; Chicken, Carrots and Herbes de Provence; Game, Chicken and Vegetables; and Beef and Garden Vegetables - each built on meat and animal derivatives at 55-56%, of which 94-95% is described as natural and 4% is named protein. Cesar describe the range as 100% complete and balanced for adult dogs, coming in at protein 10%, fat content 4.7%, crude ash 2%, crude fibre 0.5% and moisture 80.4%, at 89 kcal per 100g.

• 8 x 150G trays, 4 flavours per pack
• Meat and animal derivatives 55-56%, of which 94-95% natural
• Protein 10%, fat content 4.7%, crude ash 2%, crude fibre 0.5%, moisture 80.4%
• 89 kcal per 100g
• Described as 100% complete and balanced for adult dogs

On the meat content. "Meat and animal derivatives" is a mixed-source term rather than a single named cut, and only 4% of the recipe is described as a named protein per flavour - the rest is the broader derivatives category, which is worth knowing if you're comparing this against a food that states its meat percentage differently.

Who it's for: owners of adult dogs who like variety in a wet food and don't need a single-protein or limited-ingredient recipe.
