A toy that combines a rigid vinyl shape with soft rope limbs tends to survive longer than an all-vinyl one, because the rope gives a bit where the vinyl wouldn't.

This one is built the same way as the rest of Bestpets' vinyl-and-rope range, but with a gorilla face and vinyl hands instead of feet, aimed at general fetch and chew play. The mix of a firmer vinyl body with softer rope limbs gives a dog more than one texture to work through in the same toy.

• Vinyl face and hands
• Rope legs
• Gorilla design
• Suited to interactive play with your dog
• Mixed-material construction

One thing worth knowing. No size or squeaker information is given for this toy, so we can't confirm dimensions or whether it makes any sound before it arrives. Judge the fit for your dog from the photos rather than a spec sheet.

Who it's for: dogs that like a mixed-material toy for general play, particularly if the dog-face version in this range has already gone down well.
