Full description
"Gentle" is doing some work in how a tug toy is marketed, because most dogs given a tug toy will pull at whatever strength they've got - the toy needs to be built for that regardless of the label.
This rubber tug measures 33.5cm and is described by Bestpets as suited to gentle tug of war and keeping a dog engaged in play, in a large format compared to some of the rubber toys in this range.
- 33.5cm long
- Solid rubber construction
- Large size
- Suited to tug of war and interactive play
One thing worth knowing. "Gentle tug of war" is Bestpets' own phrase, and there's no hardness or durability rating given - so if your dog pulls with real force, we can't confirm from the card how the rubber holds up against that.
Who it's for: dogs that enjoy a tug game at a moderate intensity, and owners after a large rubber toy at a low price.

Why we chose it
At 33.5cm it's a genuinely large tug toy for the price, giving plenty of length to grip without hands getting close to teeth. It's a simple rubber toy without any extra features, which keeps the cost down.
