Full description

Sound is often the thing that keeps a dog interested in a toy long after the novelty of the shape has worn off, which is why a crinkle filling tends to outlast a plain plush one in terms of actual play time.

Mallory Monkey combines soft plush fabric with reinforced rope limbs, and is filled with a mix of crinkle material and polypropylene fibre, so it rustles under a bite as well as giving a dog something to grab and pull.

On what's not said. Bestpets don't give a length, weight or a dog-size guide for this toy - if you have a large or particularly forceful chewer, we can't confirm from the card whether the rope limbs will hold up.

Who it's for: dogs that enjoy a plush toy with texture and noise built in, and owners after an inexpensive toy with a bit more going on than a flat squeaky shape.

Why we chose it

Combining rope limbs with a crinkle-filled body gives a dog two different things to do with one toy, which tends to stretch out how long it stays interesting. It's a low-cost way to add variety to the toy box.
