Full description
Texture matters as much as shape to a lot of dogs - a toy with some curl and give to it invites a different kind of play than a flat plush shape does, particularly for a dog that likes to paw and nose at something before committing to a proper chew.
This fox is soft, squeaky and deliberately curly in its construction, which Bestpets say makes it a good interactive toy. It measures 20cm across, small enough to carry around the house but with enough plush bulk to be worth shaking.
- 20cm wide
- Soft, curly plush construction
- Built-in squeaker
- Designed as an interactive toy
- Friendly, character-style design
One thing worth knowing. Bestpets give us a width but no length, weight or material breakdown beyond "soft", so there isn't much here to go on beyond the photos and the one dimension supplied. We can't confirm how the curly construction holds up under sustained chewing rather than the interactive play it's aimed at.
Who it's for: dogs that respond to a squeaky, texturally interesting toy for interactive play, rather than tug or heavy chewing.

Why we chose it
It's an inexpensive, cheerful toy that most dogs respond to on the squeak alone, and the curly build gives it a bit more character than a standard plush shape. At this price it's a low-risk toy to try.
