Product description

Two things worth knowing. Always clip a retractable to a harness, never a collar: a dog hitting the end of five metres at speed puts a jolt through the neck that a harness spreads across the chest. And these leads belong in parks and on quiet paths rather than beside traffic, where a dog can be several metres into a road before the brake is any use. Harnesses are sized by the chest (girth) — the measurement around the widest part of the ribcage, just behind the front legs.
How to measure
- Stand your dog up squarely.
- Wrap a soft tape around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs.
- Keep two fingers under the tape so the fit is snug, not tight.
- If your dog is between sizes, choose the larger one.
