A flat-headed toothbrush only cleans the surface it's pressed against, which means brushing a dog's teeth properly means constantly repositioning it — something most people give up on within a few days.

Arm & Hammer's Fresh 360 Toothbrush is shaped to clean teeth from all angles in one motion rather than one surface at a time, cutting down the time a full clean takes. The head is specially shaped to suit different tooth sizes, and the handle has a soft rubber grip designed to make it easier to hold and control. Arm & Hammer describe their dental care range as having been used for over 150 years.

• 360-degree cleaning head
• Cleans multiple tooth surfaces per stroke
• Specially shaped for different tooth sizes
• Soft rubber grip handle
• Suitable for all dogs

What isn't given. No bristle stiffness rating or a recommended paste to pair it with is specified, so it's worth introducing it gradually if your dog isn't used to any brushing yet, rather than expecting immediate full cooperation.

Who it's for: owners wanting to cut down the time and fuss of brushing, particularly if a flat-headed brush has previously meant a rushed, incomplete clean.
