What "fresh chicken" means here. The name and Arden Grange's own copy lead with fresh chicken, but the composition panel shows the 37% total chicken content is mostly dried chicken (32%), with fresh chicken making up 5% of the recipe. Both are genuinely chicken and both are on the label — it just isn't the fresh-meat-first recipe the name on the front suggests.

Who it's for: owners feeding a puppy or young dog through to full adult height, particularly one being kept off wheat gluten, beef, soya and dairy — not an adult dog past its growth phase.
