Full description
Between a standard chain and an extra-heavy one sits this weight, heavy rather than extra heavy, which is the version most trainers reach for unless a specific dog calls for more.
It's made from chrome-plated mild steel with welded links, lighter than the extra-heavy version in the same Ancol range, and intended purely as a training aid.

On use. As with any check chain, the makers say it should be used responsibly, ideally with guidance from a qualified trainer, and never left on a dog unattended.

It's priced lower than the extra-heavy version and suits the majority of cases a check chain gets used for at all. We'd point anyone unsure which weight they need towards asking their trainer rather than guessing.
