Duck sits further down most dogs' allergy lists than chicken or beef, which is one reason it turns up so often in diets built for dogs already flagged as sensitive to something else.

As with the rest of this range, 2.5kg of raw ingredients goes into every 1kg that comes out of the bag, and duck between fresh and dried forms makes up 80% of the finished recipe — 66% fresh duck, 14% dried. Sweet potato, peas, apple and chickpeas carry the rest, styled by AATU as a blend of 8 vegetables, 8 fruits, 8 herbs and 8 botanicals.
