Good hydration is one of the simplest, most genuinely useful things you can do for a dog's urinary health, and feeding wet food, or adding water to dry food, increases moisture intake in a way that can support normal urinary function alongside whatever your vet has recommended.

Regular access to fresh water and regular opportunities to go outside and urinate both matter too — a dog who's frequently made to hold on for long periods is at a disadvantage regardless of diet. None of this replaces a vet's diagnosis and any prescribed treatment, but it's a genuinely useful, low-risk addition alongside it.
