Switching your cat over without upsetting their stomach
Cats can be more resistant to a sudden diet change than dogs, both in terms of accepting a new food readily and in how their digestion copes with it, so introduce a chicken-free recipe gradually over a week or more, increasing the new food's proportion a little each day rather than swapping overnight.
If your cat refuses a new food outright, resist the temptation to keep switching flavours in quick succession, since this can make a cat even more selective over time. Giving one recipe a fair, patient trial before moving to another usually gets better results than rapid trial and error.
