Full description

Sensitive digestion in cats is often about consistency as much as ingredients, which is why a recipe pitched at "sensitive digestion and delicate appetite" tends to lean on one recognisable named meat rather than a long list a fussy or delicate stomach has to work through.

Purina ONE Sensitive is built around turkey (18%) and rice (15%), with dried turkey protein, corn, corn protein meal, pea protein, animal fats, soya meal and fish oil. Protein is 36%, fat content 16%, crude ash 8.5% and crude fibre 2.0%, with omega-3 at 0.3% and omega-6 at 2.5%.

2.8kg bag, complete dry food
Turkey (18%) and rice (15%) named
Protein 36%, fat content 16%, crude ash 8.5%, crude fibre 2.0%
Fish oil included alongside the turkey
Purina's feeding guide runs 30-55g daily for a 2-4kg cat up to 85-110g for a 6-8kg cat

What the label does not say. This is a rice-based recipe rather than grain-free, and "sensitive digestion" here is Purina's general positioning rather than a guaranteed fix for a specific cat's intolerance — a cat with ongoing digestive trouble is one for a vet to look at rather than to manage through food alone.

Who it's for: owners of a cat with a delicate appetite or sensitive stomach, wanting a named turkey recipe with fish oil included, rather than a generic "sensitive" blend.

Purina One Sensitive Cat Turkey

Why we chose it

Naming turkey and rice specifically, rather than a vague 'with poultry', is what we look for on anything marketed as sensitive, because it's the sort of detail that actually helps if you're trying to rule ingredients in or out. Fish oil alongside it is a sensible extra for coat and general condition too.
