YuMOVE joint and skin care
YuMOVE is a joint care supplement brand for dogs and cats, with separate formulas for young, adult and senior animals and a skin and coat product alongside the joint range. We stock a wide selection across the dog range and the cat joint care line.
What the range covers
The joint care line is split by life stage — young, adult and senior dogs each have their own formula, on the basis that a young, active dog's joints have different needs from an older dog's — plus a joint care option for cats. Most come as a daily chewable bite rather than a tablet you have to hide in food, which is part of why the range is popular with owners of fussier animals.
Alongside joints, we stock YuDerm, a skin and coat product from the same range aimed at dogs with itching or coat issues, and a digestive care formula for dogs. Each targets a different concern, so check which specific product matches what you are actually trying to support rather than assuming the whole range does the same job.
Who this range tends to suit
Joint supplements generally suit older dogs and cats, larger breeds prone to joint wear, and any dog recovering from or managing a joint issue under veterinary guidance, though the young and adult formulas are aimed at supporting joints proactively before problems appear rather than only after.
A supplement is not a substitute for veterinary treatment if your dog or cat is showing signs of joint pain — stiffness, reluctance to jump or climb stairs, or a change in how they move. See your vet to establish what is actually going on before starting or relying on any supplement.

Common questions
- Can I give my puppy a joint supplement?
- YuMOVE's young dog formula is aimed at supporting joints from an early age, but check the specific product's guidance for the age it suits, since not every joint product is intended for very young puppies. If in doubt, ask your vet what is appropriate for your dog's age and breed.
- How long does it take to see a difference with a joint supplement?
- Manufacturers typically suggest allowing several weeks of consistent daily use before expecting to see a difference, since joint supplements work gradually rather than immediately. If your dog or cat shows signs of pain or reduced mobility in the meantime, see your vet rather than waiting it out.
- Is a joint supplement a substitute for veterinary treatment?
- No. A supplement can support joint health, particularly proactively or alongside a diagnosed condition, but it is not a treatment on its own. If your dog or cat is showing signs of joint pain, see your vet to find out what is actually causing it.
- Can cats have the same joint supplement as dogs?
- No, use the product formulated for cats rather than a dog product, since dosing and ingredients are tailored to the species. YuMOVE's cat joint care line is formulated separately from the dog range for this reason.
