Vetzyme supplements and first aid
Vetzyme is a long-established, no-frills range covering three separate jobs: joint and mobility support, coat and conditioning oils and tablets, and a small first aid line including antibacterial ear and skin products. It suits owners who want a straightforward, established option rather than a newer premium brand.

Joint and conditioning tablets
The flexible joint tablets, including the glucosamine version, are aimed at dogs showing early stiffness or general joint wear, in the same category as most everyday joint supplements — supportive rather than a fast fix, and best judged over weeks rather than days. The B+E and Once a Day tablets are broader conditioning supplements rather than joint-specific ones.
Cod liver oil and the Flexi Joint and Moult & Coat oils work the same way in liquid form, typically added to food, and are chosen by owners who find a liquid easier to give than a tablet. Follow the pack for how much to use for your dog's size rather than adding it freely.
Ear care and first aid
The antibacterial eardrops and cleanser, and the antibacterial powder, are basic first aid and hygiene products rather than treatments for a diagnosed infection. Routine ear cleaning as part of grooming is a reasonable use; a dog with genuinely sore, smelly or inflamed ears needs to be seen by a vet rather than managed with an over-the-counter cleaner alone.
The same goes for the powder on minor cuts or grazes picked up on a walk — fine as basic first aid, but anything that looks deep, is not healing, or that your dog is clearly bothered by is worth a vet visit rather than repeated home treatment.
