Tear staining is mostly a cosmetic problem, not a medical one, but it is the kind of cosmetic problem that gets worse the longer it is left, which is why early use matters more than most owners expect.

It's a gentle, non-toxic tear stain remover for dogs and cats, formulated to dissolve and remove existing staining and discolouration around the eyes and coat. VetIQ describe repeated use as helping stop new staining forming and reducing recurrence, though they note some breeds prone to staining may need continuous use.

On the specifics. No ingredient list or active compound is supplied on this card, and VetIQ's own guidance says some breeds prone to tear staining may need continuous use rather than a one-off application — so treat it as ongoing maintenance rather than a single fix, especially if the staining is already well established.

Who it's for: owners of a dog or cat with visible tear staining, particularly breeds prone to it, who want to catch it early rather than let it become embedded and harder to shift.
