Fireworks, thunderstorms and separation anxiety all share the same problem for an owner: you usually know they're coming, but not far enough in advance for a same-day fix to actually work in time.

VETIQ Serene Calming is formulated with natural ingredients for hyperactive or nervous cats and dogs, aimed at keeping a pet calmer through periods of stress. VETIQ state it starts working within 6-8 hours, with the maximum effect reached at 24-36 hours, and that it works without a sedative effect — the pet isn't knocked out, just less reactive to the trigger.

• Natural ingredient formulation
• Starts working in 6-8 hours
• Maximum effect at 24-36 hours
• No sedative effect
• Suitable for pets weighing 5kg to 20kg

On the timing. Because full effect takes up to 36 hours, this isn't a same-day fix for an unexpected event — it works best given ahead of a known trigger like fireworks night or a house move, not once the stress has already started.

Who it's for: owners of a cat or dog between 5kg and 20kg who gets anxious around fireworks, thunderstorms or being left alone, and who can plan ahead by a day or two rather than needing something instant.
