Product description
A harness that spreads the pull across the chest and ribs is kinder than a collar for any animal, and close to essential for a cat or a flat-faced breed, where pressure on the throat is a genuine problem rather than a matter of comfort. This set pairs a soft plaid vest with the matching lead already included, so there is nothing left to pair up when the parcel arrives.
The vest style is the real difference from a strap harness. A broad panel of fabric across the body puts the load over a large area instead of two narrow bands, which suits animals with a small frame and delicate skin. A bow tie is stitched at the neck for the look of it. The set weighs 200 to 230 grams boxed and is listed in a long run of patterns, from plaids and stripes to dots and small florals.
- Vest harness that spreads pressure across the body
- Matching lead included
- Bow tie detail at the neck
- Suitable for cats and small dogs
- A wide choice of patterns, in sizes from XS upwards
- 200 g to 230 g packed
Know the limits of a soft set. A fabric vest and a light matching lead are made for pottering, not for controlling a dog who pulls hard; for a strong puller, use a proper walking harness and a lead rated for the job. Cats can also reverse out of any soft harness when startled, so keep walks enclosed and supervised.
What the options mean. Sizes run from XS to L — £8.99 for the smallest, £10.99 for the largest.
Who it's for: Cats, kittens and small dogs on quiet garden or pavement walks, and owners who want the harness and lead settled in one purchase.
Why we chose it
A vest harness spreads the pull over the chest instead of the throat, and this arrives with the matching lead so there is nothing to pair up. The bow tie is the reason most people pick it. Fits cats too.

Size guide & how to measure
Sized by bust (chest) circumference in cm — measured around the front legs and back.
How to measure
- Measure around your pet's chest at its widest point, just behind the front legs.
- Weigh your pet as a cross-check — but the bust measurement is the more accurate guide.
- Check against the chart; if between sizes, size up.
| Size | Bust | Lead length | Rough weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| XS | 17–30 cm | 120 cm | 0.75–2 kg |
| S | 26–40 cm | 120 cm | 1.5–4 kg |
| M | 36–50 cm | 120 cm | 4–8 kg |
| L | 46–64 cm | 120 cm | 8–12.5 kg |
Measurements are the manufacturer's own figures, measured from the actual product — allow a 2–3 cm margin. Weight is a rough recommendation; measuring by bust size is more accurate. If between sizes, size up.
