Bite-sized treats exist for a reason beyond portion control — a smaller piece means less mess dropped on the carpet mid-chew.

These are mini iced sponge trios, built from the same base as the brand's other Halloween treats — cereals, oils and fats, various sugars, and milk and milk derivatives, with dried egg and carob powder further down the list. They analyse at 12.6% protein, 8.7% oil, 0.5% crude fibre, 3.7% ash and 18.2% moisture, packaged in a food-grade pod that's 100% recyclable and made with at least 80% recycled plastic.

On what this actually is. This is a sugared, dairy-containing sponge treat decorated for the season rather than anything closer to a meal — it carries added colourings and flavourings, so it's a once-in-a-while item rather than something to give daily, whatever the packaging suggests.

Who it's for: owners wanting a small, occasional Halloween treat rather than a full-sized one, particularly for a dog that only needs a bite rather than a whole biscuit.
