Not every dog game needs two participants. A tug toy anchored to the floor by a suction cup gives a dog something to pull against on their own, which is about as close as anything gets to self-service exercise for a dog who wants to play while you are on a call or making dinner. It also puts the pulling somewhere you have chosen, rather than at the end of a trouser leg.
The base is a large suction cup that grips smooth, non-porous surfaces such as tiles, sealed laminate, a bath or a glass door. Above it sits a durable rope with textured rubber balls threaded onto it, so the same toy offers something to pull against and something to chew. The spiky rubber surface works against the teeth and gums as your dog bites down, while the rope takes the strain of a proper sideways yank.
