A flea infestation in the home doesn't stay where the pet lies down — eggs and larvae end up in carpets, skirting boards and under furniture across a whole room, which is why a fogger that fills the air rather than a spray aimed at one spot has its place.

Strikeback's Home Flea Fogger uses an insecticidal smoke to fumigate whole rooms, offering an immediate knockdown of fleas and reaching hard-to-access areas a spray might miss. Each fogger contains Permethrin at 13.25%, and the pack contains two 3.5g foggers, enough to treat a larger area or an additional room. It's made in the UK, and Strikeback position it as an ideal first treatment, followed up with a flea-killing spray.

• Insecticidal smoke fogger, for whole-room fumigation
• Contains Permethrin 13.25%
• Two 3.5g foggers per pack
• Reaches hard-to-access areas
• Made in the UK
• Positioned as a first treatment, followed by a spray

What's not stated. Strikeback don't give a room-size limit or an evacuation and ventilation time on this listing, so before setting one off, check the fogger's own packaging for how long to leave the room and how long to ventilate before pets or people go back in.

Who it's for: owners dealing with a flea problem across a room rather than just on the pet, wanting a fumigation-style treatment as a first step before a follow-up spray.
