Most dogs will eat a training treat in one bite regardless of what's in it, which is exactly why it's worth looking at the biscuit nobody chews slowly. Pointer's Mini Milk Paws are a small, crunchy biscuit rather than a soft treat, sized for a quick reward rather than a meal.

They're a grain-free recipe built from derivatives of vegetable origin, vegetables, oils and fats, and meat and animal derivatives, with milk and milk derivatives making up 4% of the mix. That milk content is the biscuit's whole identity — it's what gives the paw-shaped biscuit its name and its crunch.

• Grain-free recipe
• Milk and milk derivatives 4%
• Protein 8%, fat content 6%, crude fibre 4%, crude ash 4.5%
• Energy 327 kcal per 100g

• Suitable for all dogs over 12 weeks of age

On what this is. This is a complementary food — a treat and reward, not a replacement for a complete diet. Pointer's own guidance is to feed it at any time as a treat and to adjust the rest of what your dog eats to keep them lean and active, which puts the portioning decision on you rather than the pack.

Who it's for: owners with a dog over 12 weeks old who want a crunchy, low-fuss training biscuit to buy in bulk rather than a bag at a time.
