Cheese is the flavour dogs respond to most reliably, which is why half the training world carries a lump of cheddar in a pocket. A biscuit that tastes of it is the version you can carry in bulk without it going soft in your hand on a warm day.

These are medium-sized bone-shaped biscuits with cheese flavouring. The composition is cereals, oils and fats, minerals, meat and animal derivatives, various sugars and cheese flavouring, with vitamin A at 4500 IU/kg, vitamin D3 at 450 IU/kg and vitamin E at 45 mg/kg added. The analysis gives crude protein 9.5%, fat content 7%, inorganic matter 7% and crude fibre 2.5%. There is a feeding guide on the box worked out by dog size.
