Full description
Charcoal has a long history as a folk remedy for digestion, whatever the modern evidence for it actually says - and it is at least a real, named ingredient in these bone-shaped biscuits rather than just a flavour on the label.
These are traditionally oven-baked bone-shaped biscuits made from cereals, oils and fats, minerals including charcoal at 3%, and meat and animal derivatives, with a sensory colourant additive. Pointer describe them as enriched with charcoal to aid digestion, carrying protein at 12%, crude fibre at 4%, fat content at 6% and crude ash at 4%.
- 10KG box of oven-baked bone-shaped biscuits
- Charcoal at 3% of the minerals content
- Protein 12%, crude fibre 4%, fat content 6%, crude ash 4%
- Contains a sensory colourant additive
On the colourant. The composition lists a sensory colourant additive, so despite marketing language elsewhere in the range about no artificial colours, this recipe does include one - worth knowing if you're specifically avoiding added colourants.
Who it's for: anyone buying everyday biscuit treats in bulk who likes the charcoal angle, without expecting a colourant-free recipe.
