How to measure
- Measure around the base of your dog's neck where a collar would sit.
- Measure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs.
- Match both measurements to the table, then double-check the weight range.

Full description
A whippet or a nervous rescue can reverse out of a flat collar in about a second, usually at the exact moment a bike goes past. A vest harness removes that possibility by sitting around the ribcage rather than the neck, and this one is padded across the whole front, so the force of a sudden lunge spreads over a broad area instead of biting into a narrow strip of throat.
The shape is what makes it work on deep-chested dogs. A wide front panel follows the breastbone, the padding sits between fabric and coat, and the lead ring is placed where it will not twist the harness sideways when your dog veers off to sniff something. Slim-chested breeds are the awkward case for standard harnesses, which tend to be cut for barrel-shaped dogs and gape at the shoulder. This one is shaped for the narrower build.
