How to measure

Bust: measure right round the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs.
Back Length: measure along the spine from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.

Full description

A hood on a dog jumper is mostly decoration and everybody knows it, since very few dogs will keep one up for longer than the moment it takes to shake their head. What it does do, though, is fill in the gap at the back of the neck when it is down, and on a small dog with a thin coat that gap is exactly where the draught gets in on a cold walk.

The knit itself is chunky and flecked with colour throughout rather than printed, so the speckles run through the yarn and will not fade or crack the way a print does after a few washes. Chunky knits trap more air than flat ones, which is what makes them warm in the first place, and this one has enough stretch to pull over the head without a struggle. The pompom on the hood is the finishing touch, and the reason people stop you.
