It is built from solid fir with a tilted, UV- and water-resistant roof, so rain runs off rather than pooling and sitting on the timber. Access has clearly been thought about: the roof lifts away, there is a window to the side room, the main door latches shut against foxes, and a pull-out tray takes the mess out from underneath without you having to reach in.

Two things worth knowing. PawHut themselves flag that this is not a large cage, and we would rather you measured than guessed — 147cm is compact for rabbits, and it suits guinea pigs or a pair of small rabbits with daily run time. The run section also has no floor of its own, so stand it on flat, level ground, or slide a tray underneath if you are putting it on grass you would rather keep.
