Full description

A whole dried fish keeps more of its original nutritional profile than a processed treat does, mainly because there's nothing to process — it's simply dried rather than reformed into a shape.

These are 100% Baltic dried sprats, suitable from 8 weeks and sold as a natural product, so shape and colour vary between batches. Paddock Farm's analysis shows 53.2% crude protein and 33.7% crude fat, with 0.2% crude fibre and 7.3% moisture. They can be used as a meal topper, broken down as a training treat, or dropped into an enrichment toy.

On pack size. the makers list this in more than one size or count; the protein and fat figures above come from Paddock Farm's own analysis and hold regardless of how many sprats are in the bag you receive.

Who it's for: owners after a whole, minimally processed fish treat to use as a topper or training reward, rather than a shaped biscuit-style treat.

Paddock Farm Dried Baltic Sprats

Why we chose it

A whole dried sprat is about as unprocessed as a fish treat gets, which matters if you're trying to avoid anything reformed or extruded. The fat content makes it a genuinely useful high-value training reward rather than a filler treat.
