Full description

A meaty stick treat is judged mainly on how much of the named meat is actually in it, and this one names a higher figure than most while keeping the rest of the ingredients short.

This recipe is 80% chicken, with sweet potato and minerals making up the rest. It's grain and gluten free, meant to be fed as part of a daily allowance rather than the whole diet, and Paddock Farm's analysis shows a notably high 56.9% crude protein alongside 20.1% fat, 5.9% ash and 16.2% moisture.

80% chicken
Grain and gluten free
Crude protein 56.9%
Crude oils and fats 20.1%
Crude ash 5.9%, moisture 16.2%
1KG resealable bag

On the protein figure. 56.9% crude protein is unusually high for a meaty stick treat — worth knowing if you're totalling up a dog's daily protein intake alongside their main food, rather than treating this as a low-impact extra.

Who it's for: owners after an everyday chicken-based training or reward treat with a short ingredients list, in a large bag that lasts.

Why we chose it

80% named chicken with nothing but sweet potato and minerals alongside it is about as straightforward as a treat gets. The 1kg resealable bag is genuinely good value for something given daily.
