The point of a mixed box is not really variety for the dog. It is that you get to find out which protein agrees with a particular animal before committing to a case of one, which is a much cheaper way to answer the question than buying twelve of the wrong thing.

This box holds twelve 400g trays: four chicken, four lamb and four duck. Each recipe is 65% of its named meat, with brown rice at 12.5% (from 5.2% dried brown rice) and vegetables at 10%, plus sunflower oil at 0.75% and salmon oil at 0.3%. It is a complete food for adult dogs, so it is the whole meal rather than a topper, and it carries no added artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. The analysis moves a little by recipe: chicken is 10% protein and 7.5% fat, lamb 10% and 8%, duck 9.5% and 7.5%.

Naturo's own description names a meat that is not in the box. It offers "65% Chicken, Lamb, or Turkey" — but the pack breakdown and all three compositions say chicken, lamb and duck, with no turkey anywhere. The same paragraph also swaps the two headline figures, calling it 12.5% vegetables and 10% brown rice when the composition has them the other way round. Take the composition, not the sales copy. Who it's for: owners of an adult dog who are switching to wet trays and would rather trial three proteins than gamble on one — and anyone whose dog is bored of a single flavour.
