Buying three flavours separately to find out which one a dog actually likes is expensive and slow, so a single pack holding three different recipes — rather than twelve tins of the same thing — is really a trial pack disguised as a bulk buy.

This pack holds three recipes in herb jelly: Beef with Chicken (beef 26%, chicken 24%), Pork with Chicken, and Turkey with Chicken, four cans of each. The declared figures differ slightly by recipe — Beef with Chicken runs 7.5% protein, 5% fat, 3.5% ash and 80% moisture; Pork with Chicken runs 7.5% protein, 4% fat, 3% ash and 81% moisture; Turkey with Chicken runs 7.5% protein, 6% fat and 3.5% ash, though the moisture figure for that recipe hasn't been supplied to us.

• Three recipes: Beef with Chicken, Pork with Chicken, Turkey with Chicken

On the turkey recipe. The moisture figure for the Turkey with Chicken recipe hasn't been supplied to us, though its protein, fat and ash are — worth knowing if you're comparing all three recipes on a like-for-like basis before choosing which to feed most often.

Who it's for: owners wanting variety across a case of wet food, or unsure which flavour a dog prefers, without buying three separate 12-packs to find out.
