Full description

A lighter recipe is only useful when the analysis shows what that word means. This pouch publishes 3.1% fat and 83 kcal/100 g, giving owners concrete figures alongside the 'light' name.

Chicken is 46% and rabbit 14%, with peas and carrots at 4% each, rice at 2% and minerals also listed. The 300G pouch is complete dog food. Its analytical panel states 9.8% protein, 3.1% fat, 2.4% ash, 0.5% fibre, 81% moisture and 83 kcal/100 g, while the additives include vitamins and trace-element compounds. The declared moisture is 81%, which helps place the energy figure in the context of a wet pouch.

300G pouch
Chicken 46% and rabbit 14%
Peas 4% and carrots 4%
Complete dog food
Crude fat 3.1%
Energy 83 kcal/100 g

Light does not set the portion. The panel supplies fat and energy figures but no daily feeding amount for this exact pouch. Use the current pack table and your vet’s advice when weight management is the reason for changing food.

Who it's for: adult dogs whose owners want a complete chicken-and-rabbit pouch with a published lower-fat analytical figure for comparison.

Why we chose it

The 3.1% fat and 83 kcal/100 g figures give the word light something measurable behind it. That is the practical reason to choose this over a recipe that uses weight-control language without publishing its panel.
